Ashutosh Gowarikar recently created quite a flutter in the film industry by vocally criticising host Sajid Khan for satirising well-known personalities from the film industry on stage – and he wants the footage of his protest to be shown without any cuts.
The buzz in the industry was that the “Jodhaa-Akbar” director wanted the footage of the heated unpleasant exchange between Sajid Khan and him to be deleted from the telecast and was upset and embarrassed to see the channel highlighting the on-stage fight in their promos of the awards telecast.
The truth is quite the contrary.

Sushmita Sen has lost the court battle she fought against Abu Malik over the payments for the Heat stage shows she participated in, in 2006.
Sushmita had filed a case against music director Anu Malik’s brother Abu in the Mumbai High Court. The reason she had cited was non-payment of dues amounting to a hefty Rs.50 lakh. Read more »

Rahul Mahajan, who took a ‘voluntary exit’ from reality show “Bigg Boss” instead of apologising for breaking the rules, claims he has been charitable for the remaining three inmates of the house by pulling out of the show.
“I had thought I would give the prize money for charity but by leaving ‘Bigg Boss’ also I have done charity. By leaving the show myself, I have given others a chance to win the show. I had even requested ‘Bigg Boss’ to avoid the nomination that took place on Monday’s episode but in vain,” Rahul told IANS over phone from Lonavala. Read more »
